Mercedes Benz Gets Clearance for its E-Class Sales
After receiving all the necessary certifications, Mercedes Benz is now ready to start shipping its new E-Class cars to dealers. The E-Class launch has been delayed for sometime and the only time Mercedes was hoping to get all certifications was late July. But the clearance process appears to have gone much faster, so the launch takes place earlier than planned. Dealers are therefore now expected to receive the cars early July. Although Mercedes didn’t confirm the exact certification process that had caused delays of its launch plans, judging from the scanty information available most probably it has to do with CARB, EPA or even both.
The early July Mercedes E-Class launch is definitely good news for anyone who has been eagerly waiting for the car claimed to have some of the most intelligence features. Forward thinking technologies in production models have never been as advanced as with this 10th generation of E-Class. With this car Mercedes has taken semi-autonomous cars even much closer to the reality of fully self-driving cars although they are still a couple of years away from regulatory approval. With all the tech in abundance, there are still things for the “purist” drivers to enjoy. Like an 8 speed manual transmission, and high performance rims, to a finely tuned exhaust system, the new E-Class is sure to please the “purist” drivers and those that are all about the “technology”.
The 2017 E-Class bears more resemblance to the S-Class, but the difference in length is about 1.7 inches. You can easily mistake it for the S-Class which is bigger or the C-Class which is smaller. So it’s basically a midsize Mercedes luxury sedan with curves just as confident as its siblings. It seems every new MB model nowadays still brings out a certain corporate look, but that has been delightfully achieved with the E-Class. The looks although still conservative have been well compensated for, considering the leaps it has taken its technology forward. More technology is definitely better for any automaker seeking to take semi-autonomous cars to another level. Mercedes Benz with its E-Class courtesy of the Stuttgart’s engineering standards has definitely raised the bar higher. It’s definitely another wining formula and customers will now be delighted that the wait is over.
Although Mercedes Benz accentuates each one of its models with chrome, it doesn’t make them look any ostentatious. With the E-Class, the chrome treatment has been applied to the grille housing, front-lip, door handles, window trims, trunk latch, rear diffuser and the exhaust ports. The sedan’s front grille is a dual-blade with standard twin-beams of LED headlights and the taillights highlighting it. The lengthy hood is among the distinctive features of the luxury car.
With the launch of the E-Class and the higher numbers of sales that will be expected, the availability of auto parts will play a major role in supporting all the needs for repairs in key markets. Wherever Mercedes Benz owners may be found, finding Mercedes parts conveniently is an important factor to ensure any repair and maintenance needs that may arise are easily taken care of. One of the best options if you ever need any important parts is definitely going online. Auto techs used to check most of the parts from dealers or manufacturers but now they increasingly buy everything including performance engines. With just a few clicks, you get the exact part you need for any Mercedes car model. That will still be the case with the new E-Class luxury car everyone would want to maintain in the best condition for as long as they would own it.
