Outdoor led lighting strips are a semiconductor device that converts electricity into light. Each diode operates at about a tenth of a watt. Installation of LED lamps provides cheap, recessed lighting in corridors, staircases and under cabinets and counters. LED lamps make excellent night lighting and outdoor led lighting strips. They last much longer than incandescent light and not burn out, but gradually decrease in brightness. They are resistant to thermal and are available in a waterproof variety.

Instruction for installing outdoor led lighting strips; temporarily fit the strips on the project site to determine the exact length needed, cut the strips to make a proper fit. Lines are marked on the strip that shows where cuts can be made safely. Solder the power connection wires between the LED strips, using a soldering gun, according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Verify the positive and negative polarity of the connections.

Attach the LED to project the surface, using the mounting holes the strips. Some bands come with brackets and screws for mounting. Connect the LED strip to a switching power supply whip and then connect the other end of the stick in the 120V power outlet. Apply silicone sealant to all cut LED ends to prevent corrosion. Allow the sealant to dry for 4-6 hours.
